3-room apartment located in sector 2, Bucharest. It is a challenge as it is located in an old block.
LIVING
The balcony was added to the living area. The remaining parapet was used for the top of the dining area, thus optimizing the overall surface area of the space.
The mix of materiality gives preciousness, the composition of the furniture is highlighted with the help of open and LED-lit bodies.
The ceramics in the TV area are the star piece, and the mirror wall visually increases the area of the room. For added sophistication, the mirror is tinted – a copper finish.
The dining area benefits from natural light.
ACCESS HALL - circulations
Given that we completely redid this apartment, we were allowed to rethink and repartition the spaces where it was justified, so that the hall is in direct connection with the living spaces: kitchen, living room+dining.
The glazed metal compartments give personality, while also allowing light to enter the circulation-hall area.
At the chromatic level, the apartment follows a warm route, accents of materiality, textures and color.
The particular element is the frame-profile found on the fronts of the furniture, which gives a contemporary touch with slightly classic accents.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is completely reconfigured, so we got a “U” shaped kitchen, generous and equipped.
The quartz countertop used on the entire surface of the work furniture successfully combines both design and functionality, being a durable and resistant material.
MASTER BEDROOM
The stylistic line is also found in the master bedroom.
This was also reconfigured, obtaining a much more generous space dedicated to the beneficiaries.
Decorative paint and wall frames give personality to the space.
SECONDARY BEDROOM - office, occasional guest bedroom
The wallpaper follows the stylistic line of the apartment, but personalizes the room in a particular way.
The plant theme brings warmth, brightness, peace and balance.
SECONDARY BATHROOM
Being originally a sanitary group, the challenge was to include the shower area.
At the chromatic level, I chose a marbled ceramic – calacatta gold, and I accentuated the shower with wood-type ceramic tiles.
The finish of the batteries gives it an elegant and special touch.
MARRIAGE BATHROOM
The star color – Bugatti green – the color accent in the whole house – given by the dynamically mounted ceramic, “wooden” style.
