It is Zen, for a state of well-being, a state of home.
A house with personality where we combined unique materials through the language of human-nature communication found in the interior space. Why do we say this? Because we find the vegetal theme approached through texture, color, chosen finishes and we wanted the result to respond to both functional and aesthetic needs in a balanced manner.
The house is organized on the ground floor, first floor and attic, equally well divided and its functions. The ground floor represents the living area, upstairs we have the two bedrooms, and in the attic a room that we proposed as an office, the other giving it the role of a generous open dressing room.
The process started from a chromatic palette in earth tones and shades and some requirements discussed with the beneficiaries, which we highlighted through texture, light, creating volume, atmosphere and of course the particular language of the home.
We created a stereotomy through the details of the headboard of the double bed and the decorative paint associated with metallic profiles in gold finish, different angles that capture the design of tree branches.
We emphasize through the “elephant” texture of the decorative paint, the wallpaper chosen for the office, fluid, organic shapes at a decorative level such as the mirrors in the living area, the ceramic with the veining proposed for the TV area, all choices reinforcing the direction, stylistics and conceptuality from which we started.
We extracted the volume of the stairwell as a particular “block” that we treated as a shell, suggesting from the ground floor level by applying the duropolymer ribbing painted in a brown shade, the longitude and organization “in height” of the house.
In some places, we find decorative wall profiles that give rhythm to the space, organize it, temper it and balance it alongside all the other more rhythmic elements.
